The Viola High School robotics team, Mechanically Challenged, will be competing on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 at the 2025 Smoky Mountains Regional FIRST® Robotics Competition. The tournament is being held at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Mechanically Challenged is one of 47 teams competing for a spot at the FIRST® Robotics World Championship that will be held in Houston, Texas in April. Here are some informational links about this week's regional tournament:

Thursday was a work day, where the team worked to get the robot ready for competition and participated in practice matches before the actual qualification matches begin on Friday morning. The championship portion of the tournament will be held on Saturday afternoon. Here is the link to watch on Friday and Saturday. (This link will be updated as necessary if it changes.)
