On Thursday, September 1, the First Graders got to end their day with
lots of fun.
Mrs. Grass and Mrs. McIntosh brought all the First Graders over to tour
the High School Science Lab.
Hosted by Mrs. Cooper's 7th Hour Chemistry
class, students got to learn about special glassware and other science
equipment. After a reminder about fire safety, the students then got to see
how the Bunsen Burners work.
Gracie placed chemicals in the flame, while the students guessed what color
each chemical would burn. Special thanks to Taylar and Gracie for a
bang-up presentation and Diego, Shelby, Morgan, and Jalee for helping wrangle
students, keep everyone's safety glasses on, and take pictures. It looks
like everyone had a blast!!!
