The Viola Lady Longhorns golf team had a remarkable round of golf today at the Mountain Ranch golf course in Fairfield Bay. The girls posted a tournament best team score of 296 to become the 2022 1a State Champions!!!
AJ McCandlis is your 1a individual champion! She posted a score of 81, which was good enough to win by 10 strokes.
Kailey Hallmark finished 4th overall with a 104, which qualifies her for All-State honors.
Sayde Waltrip finished 8th overall, also qualifying her for All-State honors.
Haylee Crotts posted a 118, placing her in the top 20 out of 52 competitors.
I’m extremely proud of the time and effort these girls put into this accomplishment.
