The Viola SR girls volleyball team defeated Koshkanong tonight 3-0 to get their second win in the season. The girls won each set 25-16, 25-21, and 25-20. Our next game is Monday night at home against Yellville. Games start at 4:30 pm.

Viola's JR Girl's Volleyball team completed a 2-0 sweep of Flippin's JR JV squad last night. The Lady Longhorns won the first set 25-13 and won the second set 25-11.
The SR girls lost 3-1 to the JV SR girls from Flippin. The SRs rallied after losing the first two sets 25-21 and 25-22 to win the third set 25-19. However, the SR girls dropped the fourth set 25-18

The SR girls finished 1st out of 3 competing teams with a score of 191. Avery Rogers and Shayden Waltrip tied for 1st overall with a score of 63. Taylor Richardson finished 4th with a 65.

Robotics will be running a Laser Tag event at fall festival!
Teams of up to 7 v 7 can assault each other's core for 4 min or until 1 team is victorious. Cost is $1/person/play for each 4 min session. Grab your team and have some fun. Teachers vs. teachers? Students vs. teachers? High School vs. elementary? YOU DECIDE! Come out to the Elementary Fall festival and join us for a BLAST of a good time.
Our annual Flu Clinic is coming up soon. Thanks to Fulton County Health Dept for partnering up with Viola School to make this available for our students and our community. I know it's early, but Flu season will be here soon. Permission forms home will be sent home with students the week prior to Oct 25th. Flu shots ONLY will be available and is open to the public.

Today's golf match at Turkey Mountain has been cancelled due to rain. No make up date available at this time.
Also, a reminder. There is no volleyball practice today. We will practice at our normal time after school tomorrow.
Golf correction for tomorrow. Tomorrow's match will start at 1pm and will be an 18 hole match. The bus will leave early at 11:30 am from the school.

The Viola Sr Girls volleyball team picked up their first official high school win tonight with a 3-0 victory over Alpena. All 3 sets were very competitive with scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-22 to finish off the night. The Jr Girls also won in straight sets 25-7 and 25-9. That was their 4th win on the year. The 7th grade girls won both sets tonight also. 25-8 and 25-15. Hook'em!!
Just wanted to get the word out about the Viola Band Haunted House. It will be held in conjunction with the Viola Elementary Fall Festival on September 27, 2024.
