Mr. Trent Whitehead from the Arkansas Game and Fish came to talk to several Agri classes today! He taught students about fly fishing, hunter education, and even got to discuss career options with a few.

Viola students will begin competing in the local Elk's Lodge Hoop Shoot contest on November 20, 2024. All students between the ages of 8 and 13 as of April 1, 2025 are eligible to participate. The competition will be held during the students' physical education period. The winners at Viola will move to the regional tournament in January in Highland, AR.


Our Homecoming Dance was a huge success, with over 60 students in attendance!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible:

FCCLA is hosting a Glow in the Dark Homecoming Dance! The event will take place from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the cafeteria.
Informal attire is encouraged, so come dressed comfortably and ready to enjoy a fun and glowing evening!
Taylor Richardson and Audrie Comstock are competing in the FCCLA STAR Events competition next week in Jonesboro, and they’re using the Glow in the Dark Homecoming Dance as their project!

Huge congratulations to Missy Wilson for her amazing 3rd place finish at the Arkansas 1A State Cross Country Championship! What an outstanding accomplishment, Missy. We are so proud of you!

The Lady Longhorns kicked off conference play with a victory! 🎉 Cheyenne Newberry led with 26 points and 3 assists, Marissa Hutson added 9 points and 13 rebounds, and Taylor Richardson chipped in with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals. Great contributions all around from Jayden Fry (4 points), Gabby Rodriguez (3 points), Shaden Waltrip (5 points), and Seanna Counts (2 points). 🙌
Our conference record is now 1-0, and we’re 5-2 overall! Go Lady Longhorns! 🐮💪
